Nick Orlando was born, raised and lives in New York City, embracing everything the City has to offer and contributing to the cultural buzz. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Marketing from St. John’s University in 2005, where he was also inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Over the last 10 years, Nick has established two career paths for himself, gaining valuable sales and marketing experience in healthcare, while at the same time garnering marketing, promotions, production and reporting/interviewing skills within the media industry. Nick has worked for WE tv, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, WCBS-TV, WSIA-FM, Cox Radio, Saturday Night Live, and Live with Regis and Kelly.

Within the healthcare industry, he achieved corporate recognition as a top earner at the national level at companies such as Sanofi-Aventis (pharmaceuticals) and Essilor of America (premium eyewear). Today, Nick can be found working the streets of Manhattan, selling dental products for Ultradent Products, Inc.

In 2006, in the midst of these careers, Nick formed NICO Productions, Inc. to bring his particular marketing knowledge and writing style to the Big Apple’s entertainment industry. Nick extends his media expertise by interviewing celebrities from all areas of the industry who have taken key roles in Broadway and off-Broadway shows. His successful commentary has resulted in many published articles in print and online, such as About.com, TheaterMania.com, BroadwayWorld.com, TalkinBroadway.com, Resident.

Nick’s articles cover a broad range of topics such as career advice (from resume writing to interviewing skills) and entertainment writing (lifestyle, health and fitness, technology and social media). To date, he has been featured in Industry, M8, PopStar!, OK! Weekly, Latino University, Philadelphia Weekly, and on BigInterview.com. Due to Nick’s successes in marketing and public relations, as well as the ongoing support and confidence of such publications, NICO Productions recently celebrated its sixth anniversary in 2012.

Nick and his fiancée, Snezhana, reside in Brooklyn, NY. They enjoy traveling, dining new restaurants, and attending Broadway and off-Broadway shows.
